Silver Lining’s caregivers and nursing assistants are there to ensure the overall well-being of each client. We provide non-medical assistance to satisfy a variety of needs.

Personal Care

Assist with personal cleanliness, bathing and showering
Dressing, bathroom needs, incontinence
Assist with walking and range of motion exercises
Help the client manage the joys of the outdoors

Light Housekeeping

Linen changing
Bathroom cleaning
Care for laundry

Meal Preparation

Prepare meals and special diets
Assist with feeding

Dispensing of Medication

Assuring that medication is taken as directed from an agreed-upon, written list provided by the client or client’s family.

Errands and Appointments

Assist in food shopping
Answer the phone
Accompany and facilitate doctor and hospital appointments, hairdresser, etc.
Many of our caregivers drive and provide transportation. All must be licensed and have current insurance.

Social Needs

We provide opportunities for socialization to the homebound and isolated.

RATES

Reasonable Rates and Flexibility
Silver Lining’s focus is on bringing you or your family the best in caring at the most affordable rate. We offer hourly, daily or live-in assistance. This flexibility allows you to create a program tailored to meet your individual needs.

Fee Schedule
Rates Effective February 18, 2008

Monday through Friday:
7 am to 11 pm (4 Hours Minimum) $13.50/Hour
($10.00 to Caregiver/$3.50 to Silver Lining)

Monday through Friday:
11 pm to 7 am (4 Hours Minimum) $14.00/Hour
($10.50 to Caregiver/$3.50 to Silver Lining)

Friday 11 pm through Monday 7 am: $14.00/Hour
(4 Hours Minimum)
($10.50 to Caregiver/$3.50 to Silver Lining)

Live-In 24 Hours (One Person): $134.00/Day
($107.00 to Caregiver/$27.00 to Silver Lining)

Under 4 Hours: $16.50/Hour
($11.25 to Caregiver/$5.25 to Silver Lining)

Additional for more than one person

Use of Caregivers automobile
$.485 per/mile to Caregiver

Minimum unit for calculating fee: 1/2 hour

2 hour show up fee if service is not cancelled
within 4 hours of start time.
